EXPERIENCED LEAD CARPENTER - Full-time - $35-$42/hr plus comprehensive benefit package

Remodeling + Specialist = REMODELIST = YOU?

 

ELEA HEALY - Remodelists is dedicated to the betterment of the remodeling industry. We are seeking a collaborative, communicative, and considerate onsite field supervisor and carpenter with a toolbag full of skills and experience, but always seeking to learn more and get better. 

 

Are you a skilled craftsperson who knows houses and loves working on remodeling projects of all scales and styles? Are you skilled in rough-framing, detailed millwork installation, AND getting things done? We are looking for someone to join our Remodelist team who can hold their own on site, moving tasks forward and keeping an eye on everyday activities. Our Field Remodelists are expected to be easy to talk to, supportive of coworkers and clients alike, and have professional habits that are in step with being in people’s homes. 

 

At ELEA HEALY, we believe that skilled craftspeople are valuable and should be compensated accordingly. In addition to base wages, this position includes a generous paid time off, holidays, health care package, tool allowance, and tech/wellness reimbursements. If you are an experienced project supervisor and carpenter with the following skills, and want to join a seasoned team of home-making professionals, we look forward to hearing from you! 

 

  • Field, site, and team supervision (3-5 years minimum)

  • Experience working with budgets and estimates

  • Scheduling and project planning

  • Rough framing of additions and interior remodels

  • Fine millwork installation of historic and modern styles of casework

  • Cabinetry installation - semi-custom and custom 

  • Certifications or trainings - OSHA, hazardous materials safety, project management, design, remodeling, or construction labor

  • Computer skills, including Google Suite, construction project management software (Co-Construct or similar), constituent relationship management (CRM) software, or construction design software (Chief Architect or similar)

  • Team player - as leader and contributor

  • Collaboration - work closely with design and project management teams to deliver finely-detailed results

  • Communication - strong written and verbal communication skills with team members, partners, vendors, and clients

  • Professionalism - timeliness, presentation, accountability

  • Growth mindset - willing to learn and able to teach 

  • Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion 

  • Valid US Driver's license and clean driving record

  • Must be able to withstand long hours of concentrated physical activity (up to 8 hours/day)

  • Must be able to work on ladders or scaffolding as necessary with proper safety protocols

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs safely

 

Additional skills that are a plus, but not required:

  • Ability to speak multiple languages

  • Knowledge of alternative trades
